Welcome to the NEW official blog for Ogden International's sports news! This Blog is to help expand our sports program and broaden the horizons of our student athletes. The reason this blog was created was so that our school can be recognized for more than its amazing academics, but also show the tough competitive side of us through our various sports programs.
This blog also was created because of a personal project, which was intended from the beginning to help a student pass, but ultimately developed for more the student's passion for sports and athletics.
This is post will explain the following things...
-How it will expand our sports program
-Getting the message out
-How it will affect Ogden in the long run
1. This blog will post new information and up to date facts on current athletic activities here at Ogden...such as wins, losses, updates on current events, etc.
-It is intended to keep the Ogden spirit alive and popularity of our programs here at school. Ultimately expanding the sports program in the long run...
F.E. / "Andre Ellis gets 5 points off serves in volleyball game against Dunbar, giving us a score of 21-15!
* That would be considered a current update*
2. Getting the message out about our athletes is always a great thing because then we could always be up to date with info about our fellow owls...plus saying "Hey! great dunk against #21" is always a vote of confidence saying "We like what your doing, so keep it up"!
-Since athletes look to get scouted, sometimes for scholarship opportunities, this is another plus about expanding the word on our athletes. Basically opening up the doors for college and possible international study opportunities!
3. Ogden is full of intelligent young reporters as well as full of hard working athletes waiting to be noticed. So the plan is to get some reporters interested in going to these games and blogging, tweeting, and facebooking updates and final reports on our games.
-Also, if this type of media is good for our athletes...we could possibly create a social expansion of our news, academics and weekly reports on info regarding our school.
So in the end, it is us knowledgeable owls that keep our spirit alive, and this network of social media is for you guys to report the high flying news of Ogden to other students.
LETS GO OWLS!!!
We also have a other ways to report!

PS/ One day, I would like to pass on the torch of keeping this dream alive...the editor should choose one student who really wants to direct the network if the editor is about to graduate HS, basically pass on the torch on young owls...
